You keep posting notes like this, what's the use? Those who are supporting the regime, will do so without paying any attention to the likes of you or I, and the rest have to be quiet. If there are enemies in and out of Iran, that enemies are home-grown. No one listents to you or your friends, and what you do is just a lost cause.

ناشناس عزیز،
اگر چنین نوشته هایی بروی این بلاگ نباشد، من یکی دچار شگفت خواهم شد. آیا تا کنون از خود پرسیده اید، که چرا شماری از ما ایرانیان از شنیدن راستی و افزودن بر "آگاهی" هایمان فراری هستیم؟ شما فکر می کنی که مانند سرباز کوچک دوست ندارند که زندگی شان را مانند آدمهای دیگر در "آرامش" بگذرانند؟
اگر دردی را امروز از آن می نالیم ریشه یابی نکنیم--و بخشی از این ریشه یابی در شناخت دشمن و جنسیت آن دشمنی است--این درد هزار سال دیگر هم ما را آسوده نخواهد گذاشت.
اینگونه سخن گفتن، یعنی مایوس بودن. یاس و تردید در چنین زمانی یعنی دشمن-دوستی.
I’m not optimistic. When I began this blog five years ago, I had about 3 Iranian readers a day. Five years later, that number stands at about 8. Most people in their right mind would have given up long ago, but what has kept me going, besides the encouraging messages I receive now and then from my compatriots, is the consideration of the alternative: To say and to do nothing.
There is one point however that I’d like to make very clear, just to avoid any misunderstandings, and it is this: Considering that the very aim of this blog has been to more clearly expose western lifelines to the regime which they themselves brought to power, and that the enemies “inside” serve outside interests, I cannot describe our enemies as only home grown.
