Andrew G. Bostom
An excellent article by Dr. Andrew G. Bostom, one of the very few non-Iranian scholars with an actual and very strong grasp of Iran’s history. A true scholar, he does not alter or conceal facts in order to further a political agenda.
Here he points out that the Islamic Republican Majless’ supposed legislation to badge the “infidels” would reflect not Nazism, but the “profound influence” of a unique Shi’ite institution.

Incidentally, Iranian (so they say) bloggers who, undoubtedly to enlighten their readers, are fond of portraying officials of the Islamic Republic as Nazis, Neo-Nazis and nearly everything else except what they really are, namely Islamists, should take note. They may also want to translate this article into Persian.
